Guest Pete
Hello all, Just upgraded to a newer version Hymer 544, 1996, I was quite shocked at the handling compared to my old 544 and it tends to get buffetted about. It has been suggested that the airride system will make a huge difference, I am also going to carry a scooter in the near future, will this not just stabilise it better. Any thoughts regards Pete
Guest barrie
hi, have airride on my boxer symphony, certainly worth the effort, noticeable improvement in stability. we carry a vespa on the back weighing 110 kg and find no adverse effects.if you do carry a scooter do your maths and have a trip to a weighbridge first. we were able to upgrade our chassis plate via SV Tech with the airride fitted.this could have been higher if we had upgraded the tyres as well.
