Laurence Posted November 8, 2018 Share Posted November 8, 2018 We have. Fitted about a year ago and its the best thing we have ever fitted. We have been all over the UK and twice to the Continent. Our 6m Laika is quite nose down, which is quite good for driving, but always a pain to level. We use the MH to go off site regularly, and its great to get back - sometimes in darkness, and let the auto-level do the work for you. Its not cheap, but worth it. Adds about 55kg. I researched comments on where to go on various forums, and the collective answer was to talk to Mick at Doncaster (Specialist Automotive Products). Even though we are Kernow based we went up there - Mick provides an overnight pitch with hookup, and it takes about one and a half days to fit. Recommended. Mick at SAP also fitted our EP system about a year ago, we're really pleased with it and all it's capable to do. It's not just a case of auto levelling, Mick will set the system to tilt the van to empty your grey water tank at the push of a button. Also my van, like many others, collects gallons of water on the roof after it rains so I can manually lift the appropriate jacks to tip all the water off. Also, when in storage, I can leave it in that position to stop any water from collecting. Mick and all his lads are real engineers using a first class workshop with all the latest equipment. After the jobs done they will show you underneath at all the work done and spend time explaining the system and how to use it. He also fitted full VB air suspension to ours which is ultra brilliant, but that's another story. We've got a good van which has all we need so intend to keep it, look after it, and enjoy our retirement in it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No erxpense spared I went to Poundland and bought a ratchet strap for each corner of the bed. Either or both will level the van, but the E&P keeps it stable. If you have the spare payload and the cash, go for it. We used Rosmia in West Sussex, and the installation was excellent.
