weldted
Hi a lot of motorhome fridges are hard wired in and rely on the mcb at the fuse box to protect them. If not it may be under the fridge if its not floor mounted. Try taking the lower vent off from outside and see if you can follow the mains cable. It’s most likely the 240 element that has failed. What year and model fridge may provide more info.
Peter Boyle
Thanks for your Reply, it is a 2014 Motor home, I will check behind the vent.
Robinhood
Though I have seen motorhome fridges fitted using a standard 3 pin plug for 230V connection, most are hard-wired. I would expect the latter to be the case for your Autotrail, and for the protection (possibly shared with other 230V appliances) to be via one of the MCBs mounted in the Power Supply Unit.
