Between the cab seats under the carpet is the access to the fuel tank sender unit. Behind that(towards the rear of the van) is a ramped plastic trim that allows for the slight level change. Does anyone know how to remove this trim? Behind this trim across the cab at the rear is the full width step.

I’ve looked at my 2015 Ducato-based Rapido coachbuilt motorhome and this does not have the plastic trim that you mention.

 

However, I think the plastic component you are referring to is the one shown on this advert

I also THINK that the the trim-piece may be held in place by plastic clips beneath it and (if that’s correct) pulling/prising the trim upwards should cause the trim-piece to detach from the floor.

 

Before subjecting the trim-piece to judicious brute force, I suggest you contact the advertiser (Coastal Motorhomes) just in case they know how the trim is held in place.
