Don Madge Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 Friday 14th July is Bastille Day in France and you can expect heavy traffic on all routes going south from Thursday evening onwards. This is the start of the main holiday season in France as well as one of the biggest holidays of the year. If a miracle happens and a Frenchman wins the Bastille Day stage of the "Le Tour" there will be plenty of celebrations. So if you are travelling through France next weekend enjoy yourself.
