Wasnt Me
Can anyone please recommend a cover that will go over 4 Adult bikes. We have a Fiamma one that didn't last a year and does not fit. Thanks in advance.
colin
We have a 2 bike Hindermann, had it a year so far and seems OK. They do bigger sizes.
Wasnt Me
Thanks I'll take a look. The issue is we have big mountain bikes, with long wide handlebars and they don't fit in the Fiamma one.

The issue is we have big mountain bikes, with long wide handlebars and they don't fit in the Fiamma one. We turn the handlebars of our mountain bikes when on the bike rack - they fit better that way and take up less room. (and anyone who pinches them will need an Allen key to adjust the handlebars before they ride off ). ;-)
Brock
Bags4Everything say they will make bags to measure. The bags we bought from them [NOT cycle bags] are well made and are lasting. https://bags4everything.co.uk The alternative I suppose is two bags. Derek Uzzell
Thule markets a cover for 4 bikes (Part Number 307336). Sample advert here https://www.homesteadcaravans.co.uk/accessory-shop/caravan-motorhome/bike-carriers/thule-4-bike-cover-.htm Another company offering ‘bespoke’ covers is this one https://www.bagsandcoversdirect.co.uk/search/bike

It would be useful if someone has used one for 4 Adult bike.

I haven't had the bikes on the rack for a while - but when I did turn the handlebars I remember we also reversed the direction of the front wheel - and the bike was a bit shorter. Had to do that because originally they projected too far out from the side of the van. :-|
tonyishuk
Taylormade Screens made me a longer cover for two ebikes, they might be able to make a wider one with a wider gusset between the front and rear panels. Always been helpful when I have asked questions. Rgds

Will86
Handlebars. Remove them completely and tie them to the frame when moving.
Wasnt Me
Thanks I was hoping not to have to do this. It adds to the faff of taking bikes.
Will86
Yes agreed but if keeping them stowed for a lengthy trip and covered securely it may be the better answer in the end, I cycled a lot in the past but the bike designs were different then. Guest rael
I never really managed to get 4 bikes onto the rack without it taking ages and lots of swearing. Fritz Berger do a cover that says it will go over 4 bikes. See link below. Its in German but Google Chrome will translate for you. https://www.fritz-berger.de/artikel/fiamma-fahrradschutzhuelle-bike-cover-s-3-65089 I did have a cover for 4 bikes, Fritz Berger own make but they don't seem to market it now, probably because it was too difficult to put on. I'd also read the reviews, they are not very positive!
Wasnt Me
Thanks. Quite a few say that it is for 4 bikes, but in practice they don't fit over 4 Adult Bikes. I can get 4 on, I just want to cover them.
