Max Speed Posted June 15, 2021 Share Posted June 15, 2021 Had a major catastrophe with a rear off lower side valance, got trapped and consequently torn off, pulled the cable from the rear side running light and also an earth wire which is connected to the chassis, but where did this earth wire go to? no sign of any terminal point behind the valance attached to the Aluminium side panel, the underside is bonded timber.. Max Speed Posted June 16, 2021 Author Share Posted June 16, 2021 Hi Brian, no the running lights are OK it is just an earth wire which is bolted to the alko chassis, supported by the floor and is long enough to reach the body side panel which the valance is fastened to. It looks like the earth wire was trapped between the valance flange and the body side panel, most weird. no sign of any terminal anywhere. The valance is being straightened at a local engineering works as is well buckled and being ally may have stretched a tad ?? Max Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
