747
Derek Uzzell - 2021-10-15 10:38 AM The Rapido is our 3rd motorhome - there won't be a 4th. I have just sold our Burstner Tag axle van due to medical reasons that hopefully will not be of a permanent nature. The motorhome scene has changed a lot over the 15 years we have had one and the Jury is out on whether we will buy another one. There is much more anti motorhome feeling about now, not helped by the behaviour of a small number of owners, particularly among the newer owners and the Motorhome Hire customers. Responsible Wildcamping is much more difficult, especially in a large coachbuilt van. Nowadays we are much more limited to a schedule caused by site bookings. That's life. ;-)

colin
Back to OP, at present Lateral Flow (or Rapid Antigen as the box says) is free, There has been discussion in government about charging from now on, esp. for travellers, I noticed at health centre pharmacy yesterday there was a sign saying test kits would only be given out on production of sort sort of ticket, as we've got a stack of tests never asked if this some new government system or just a local issue with supply, up to now we just get them from council sites such as library. Derek Uzzell
See following links and scanned copy of leaflet https://test-for-coronavirus.service.gov.uk/collect-lateral-flow-kits https://www.devon.gov.uk/news/change-to-the-way-you-collect-your-free-rapid-test-from-the-pharmacy/ When I spoke to a pharmacist about the revised system a few days ago, I was told that it was to address the fact that people had been collecting test kits (because they were free) on a ‘just in case’ basis and then not using the kits or not reporting the result to the NHS.
