Technically this is not a motorhome thread but hopefully will be next year.

Anyone living in the kent/sussex area is very welcome to attend our Classic car show in Appledore Kent on Sunday 21st July

We have over 350 classic cars on show, from a 1920s Lagonda to Austin 7s and on through the 60s with Lotus cortinas, escorts etc and into the 80s. There will be a selection of old and modern Ferraris and Lamborginis.

Next year we hope to have a field set aside for Caravans and Motorhomes. There is a small site near the the show called Bridge farm campsite Appledore.

Its a great day out. Just google Appledore car Rally and it will give you all the details.

I will be in my yellow jacket in the Ferrari section, please come over and say hello.

Entrance is £5,kids free. show starts at 10.00 am ends 4.00pm.

If you own a classic car bring it along.

We are a registered charity and every penny collected goes back into the village and the community

As i say next year we hope to make it a bumper year with the addition of a camping field

All the best and hope to see you there

Regards

david

Hi

You can just turn up. We keep spaces for late entrants. When you come into Appledore head for exibitor entrance rather than car park entrance. What classic do you own?

Regards

David

Thanks for the reply. I have two Rovers, a 1974 3500S and a 1953 75. So long as the weather holds I will probably bring the 75. It's not that I mind getting it wet, but it's 50 miles each way and windscreen wipers from that era could more accurately be described as windscreen smearers.

I run a 1947 Riley and have improved my wipers by usinng half a modern wiper blade, There had to be a little improvisation but wiping is sfar more effective . So far no one has noticed .We have a local shop that sells blades for under £10 . I happened to have an old one from my camper and a half was just the right length.Suugest you take a blade along to a facttor and see if you can find a match.
