kevandali
Happy Christmas to you lovely lot, hope it is a good one when it comes. This year we have all 4 kids and their partners returning home for Christmas dinner but by the day after Boxing Day, they will have dispersed. We are thinking of zipping away in the van, just me and my better half and the and celebrating/letting the New Year in on the coast. We live in Nottinghamshire and are thinking of Port Eynon near Rhossili or similar, or Northumbria somewhere. Even somewhere other than the above if you've been before and is well worth a visit Ideally a place where we can walk the pooche on the beach and then visit a local pub for the New Year. Thanks in advance for any help Kev and Alison :-)

Grumpyman
I would look at websites for Northumbria coast to start or Northumbria campsites . Not sure how many will be open but worth a try . we have been to Northumberland many times but not at this time of year. wish you luck.
Ketvrin
If it's beaches you want, Northumberland is what you need... Try this website and search around Alnwick to see what's open... https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/calcdist.asp?l=55.412744&lg=-1.7062989999999445&md=10 Good luck Enjoy and best wishes K ;-)
Spyder
We’re at Ord House in Berwick upon Tweed from Boxing Day until the New Year. We were there in summer and it’s a great site. Within easy reach of Holy Island, Banburgh and Alnwick.
