trialsrider
I'm just about to fit my Ctek Mxs 7.0 into my van. I'm hoping to fit it on a vertical wall, preferably vertically or horizontally. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this? Or should the charger be fitted flat on the floor of the van ?
Keithl
There is no mention of any restrictions in the CTEK manual for this charger (or any other CTEK I have used) other than the following: • Never place the charger on top of the battery when charging. • Always provide for proper ventilation during charging. • Avoid covering the charger. So I would surmise that you would be OK mounting it on a 'wall' in either orientation. Just make sure nothing can fall against it to cause it to overheat. If you wanted absolute confirmation then contact CTEK directly. https://www.ctek.com/contactus Keith.
