Dealership good or bad experience

Thankyou Derek,

At the Nec show in Feb 2019 they had a full range of Elddis motorhomes on their stand, which they were taking orders for!. They also had a big glossy brochure of their dealership specials from Elddis . I may be interested in their version of the CV40. At Peterborough they had a much reduced display, so I passed on.

Can you use your knowhow and bring up the full spec for the Elddis CV40?, in particular the electrics and all the EXTRA's included in the special versions. thanks.

Em

Glossop Caravans sells new (and used) motorcaravans.

I’m guessing that you mean “Motorhome Department”, but I think this company is not a motorcaravan dealership selling new motorhomes.

I wonder if Earthmover meant ‘Glossop Caravan and Motorhome Dealership’ rather than two entities?

There’s a fair amount of information about the CV40 here

http://www.elddis.co.uk/elddis/autoquest-campervan/autoquest-cv40

and 2019 brochures/price-lists can be downloaded from here

A 2019 “Campervan Handbook” for Autoquest and Avantgarde models can be downloaded from here

You’d need to contact whoever markets ‘special’ versions of the Elddis campervan to find out how the enhanced specification differs from the standard version.

If you go for the Elddis CV40 be sure to check the roof for rust (yes, rust on a brand new van).

A member on the wildcamping forum refused to accept his new van because of evidence of a grinder or cutting disc being used to cut out the holes for the rooflights. The residue from grinding had been left on the roof and had rusted. His replacement van had the same but not as bad as the first one. Elddis have denied using a cutting disc.
