trialsrider Posted September 7, 2018 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Hi there I've just removed the remnants of protective film from the fridge door. Ive been staring at it since i had the van converted a year ago. To do so you have to remove seal, unscrew top screws then slide out upper part of door catch. This enables you to slide out the stainless steel front sheet of the door and remove the remainder of the protective film from the edges. I've now put it back together. It opens and closes as it should and does so on both the lock and vent option. But when on lock option I can pull the door open a few mm without operating the opening catch. It then hits an end point. If I let go it closes itself as if the door is being drawn in like its magnetic. Should I be able to do this or have I misaligned something ?
