Has anyone found a double din radio conversion for a 2005 Fiat Ducato base motorhome?

There are several on-line references to a 2-DIN conversion kit for Ducato 244 models, and the images on these links include examples

(I don’t know whether this is available in the UK - I’ll leave you to explore the dark recesses of foreign websites and/or Facebook for more infomation.)

 

Alpine and Pioneer have both marketed a large-screen head-unit that is mounted using the original 1-DIN ‘hole’ in the dashboard. (Alpine example here).

Thanks for the links etc. I had looked at them already, and sadly the facebook page one is no longer available, comment made 31 weeks ago states 'Sound machine activity is over 31-12-2018 accordingly the product will not be available anymore!'

 

Has anybody actually manage to purchase the kit needed recently? f so where from.

Enquiries about the double-DIN ‘kit’ have been made on other forums in the past (examples here)

Besides the Fiat part number 735305823, the Citroen part number 8226 05 is also mentioned, and I expect the same item had a Peugeot part number relating to Boxer vehicles. But all the evidence points to the item being deleted from the Citroen and Fiat parts lists several years ago.

 

By on-line searching using the part numbers I can find the occasional non-UK advert for the item, but (personally) I wouldn’t purchase what’s being offered as I’ve no confidence it’s the correct thing and I suspect that other vital parts would also be required to install it.
