jwj
Hi Folks. The head cloth on my PVC has stained with what I assume has been condensation. Can anyone who has had this problem suggest the best cleaning material to remove this unsightly stain. With Thanks Jim
Derek Uzzell
Jim’s motorhome is a 16-years-old IH model. Jim’s earlier condensation-related enquiry (December 2019) is here https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Condensation-in-PVC/53970/
costaexpress
Think the question might be about the cloth above the drivers cab not the van internals. Does the marks appear as circular stains or spot stains and what colour please
jwj
The stain is about a foot long and is brown in colour. The previous post about water was obviously condensation and only occurred on two frosty nights. I have owned this camper from new and this is the first time I have have had trouble. Possible deterioration of insulation. Jim
Derek Uzzell
There is plenty of on-line advice on cleaning car headlning https://tinyurl.com/y3nj5pu7 but water staining will be difficult to remedy if the lining’s material has been damaged. I’d be tempted to seek advice from IH Motorhomes and the Club. https://www.ihoc.org.uk/
