Earthmover
Hi, Can someone confirm if there is any differences in Cab size (external) between, the X250 and the newer X290?. Is the X250 still being used by converters for building 2019 panel van conversions?. What would Variant L3130AU Version 440 all mean?. Regards Em. colin
AFAIK no x250 meets the required emissions standards needed to register as a new vehicle. I would guess anyone selling a x250 is converting used vans.
Deneb
Don't forget that Fiat refer to all Ducatos from 2006 to date as X250 internally. The other figures may be a variant code. If so, they will mean nothing except to the factory.
Derek Uzzell
Earthmover - 2019-08-14 8:38 PM Hi, Can someone confirm if there is any differences in Cab size (external) between, the X250 and the newer X290?. Is the X250 still being used by converters for building 2019 panel van conversions?. What would Variant L3130AU Version 440 all mean?. Regards Em. The frontal treatment of Boxer/Ducato/Relay ‘X250' vehicles was altered in 2014. The revised vehicles are generally referred to as “X290” models and the attached file shows the visual changes relating to a Citroen Relay van. There will be external dimensional differences beween the two cab designs, but a couple of plus or minus millimetres difference here and there I doubt would matter to you. I don’t know off-hand what "Variant L3130AU Version 440” means, but (as you’ll see from this link) https://maileexpress.co.uk/dims for panel vans a code (eg L1H1) is often used to indicate the model’s wheelbase and height dimensions. If the vehicle the “Variant” description applies to is a coachbuilt motorhome, it might help to know its make/model and year of manufacture.
