Ducato clock Light

Dear All, I'vr got a 2001 Ducato based Hymer CS544 and the clock light in the courtesy light unit has stopped coming on when the ignition is turned on. I've consulted the Fiat manual that says use a screwdriver as shown in the picture (but there isn't one in the picture. Levering the lamp unit tends to damage the lens and the grey plastic mounting. How do I get the courtesy lamp unit out to get a t the clock? MTIA, John T

I had to replace a courtesy light bulb and used something thin like a knife to lever the unit open but it still made a tiny mark on the casing.
