Ducato External screens

‘Silver screens’ for a 2005 Ducato will NOT be suitable for a 2015 Ducato.

A caveat...

In mid-2014 the Fiat Ducato X250 range was superseded by the X290 range and - although the windscreen itself did not change - the ‘scuttle’ area at the base of the windscreen was altered for X290s.

It’s not uncommon for people to identify the age of their motorhome using the year when the vehicle was first UK-registered. This generally does not matter, but can when there’s a major design change.

It’s likely that your 2015 Ducato is an X290 model, but you’d need to confirm this if (say) you chose a TaylorMade cover.

Discriminating between a Ducato X250 van and a Ducato X290 van is visually straightforward as the headlamp shape differs significantly.

Derek,

a little (I'm sure unintentional) typo there, which may serve to confuse given the OP's current 'van.

The Ducato X250 was introduced in late 2006 (in motorhome terms, 2007, as in fact the Taylormade website notes ) so not 2005 as above.

A word of advice to the OP; If you are buying and you have Remis cab blinds fitted in the new 'van, make sure you buy a version that has deeper over-door pockets such that they fit. The design of these blinds changed in 2010, and they require a different pocket design where the screens are fitted over the upper door corners. Both Taylormade and Silverscreens offer this as a (free, I think) option on their blinds.
