Fiat Ducato sunvisors....

Does anyone else have problems with their Fiat Ducato sun visors?

On our Adria campervan, we can't pull the driver's sun visor down fully because the top of the windscreen blind cassette gets in the way.

Anyone had this problem and found a way to overcome it? ( ...apart from not driving on sunny days!?!)??

Thanks. Bev

Hi

If you have Remis blinds fitted the screen they do a spacer kit for the sunvisors, I fitted some two weeks ago to my van much better with them.

Remis part number 10057562

I got mine off Amazon France delivery was not very quick.

Bev’s motorhome is an Adria Twin 500S panel-van conversion (PVC) and will have been built on a Fiat Ducato X290 base.

I think the issue affects PVCs with Remis blinds, as I don’t recall having similar problems with my coachbuilt Rapido X290 that has Remis pleated cab blinds.

The 10057562 adapter Paul mentions is referred to on Page 8 of the Remis catalogue

The adapter ‘kit’ is advertised here

When I was browsing around the internet about this, I chanced on a website where files for 3D printers could be downloaded, and 4 of those files related to adapters/spacers for Ducato/Boxer/Jumper sun-visors when Remis blinds had been fitted.

(Not sure what the relative costs would be between buying the ‘genuine’ Remis parts or getting someone with a 3D printer to produce them.)
