Derek Uzzell
There’s been a huge amount of online discussion about problems with Fiat Ducato instrument-clusters, particularly where the warning lights are concerned. https://tinyurl.com/axbc95j5 Not sure what help can be offered in your case as the types of fault as so varied. (Can you live with the problem?)

TheFrenchConnection
I had the 'glowing warning light' syndrome a couple of years ago. There is (was?) a company, near Portsmouth I recall, that can rebuild the unit for a fraction of the cost of new unit. However I also read that damp can cause the problems and that removing the whole unit (easy, four Torx screws and one multiplug) and drying it can help. Two weeks on the mantlepiece over our log burner and we've not had a recurrence of the problem. I know, I shouldn't have said that...!

You are probably thinking of CARTRONIX (link in mikefitz's posting above) as that company is based in Waterlooville about 2 miles north of Portsmouth. There are other businesses offering similar services. https://tinyurl.com/36eu2wnx As you’ve said, removing the complete instrument-cluster from the dashboard of a Boxer/Ducat/Relay X250/X290 vehicle should be straightforward.
