Ginny1
I know that some service stations in Italy will not fill the gaslow fitted bottles. We are touring Italy this year and am wondering if anyone has done this and been able to fill up. I have heard that you can fill at some of the smaller service stations on minor roads. Is this correct?
Solwaybuggier
We were in Italy in 2015, and had heard similarly that we may have problems with our Gaslow. We only needed to fill it once, which we did without problems. It was a new-looking filling station - I think in the area northeast of Venice. lennyhb
It is illegal to fill habitation tanks/bottles in Italy, however, providing you have an external filling point a lot of garages will fill you. A couple of years ago the first service station we stopped at on the Autostrada refused to fill us but the next one was fine. Just in case you have a problem don't let the gas get too low, we always fill up when one bottle is empty.
