Heated floor mats

Last November there was a forum question about heated floor mats for motorhomes, referring to an earlier MMM article. Purely by chance, I came across a report in Which Motorcaravan August 1996 that may be relevant, relating to a "Thermocarpet". This was a 71" x 19" carpet-runner consuming 200W of 230V mains power and originally aimed (in slightly wider format) at the caravan market. The special price to WM readers was £75 and the full retail price was £100. My Internet searches produced no results for Thermocarpet (neither supplier nor mat), though I think the manufacturer may have been a German company called "Thermo" that still specialises in heating products. Another idea that never found a market it seems, probably due to the price. For the record, the UK supplier's details provided by Which Motorcaravan were Thermocarpet Ltd, Yew Tree, Hanging Langford, Salisbury, SP3 4NN (Tel: 0700 781188)

As I'm regularly in the dog-house I visited the petsmart site, but I couldn't spot anything resembling a heated carpet. Perhaps I didn't look in the right category - which one was the product in please and what was it called?

Clive/Nick: thanks for the info. In fact the 'pet pads' - even the big ones - are nowhere near the same size as the Thermocarpet (nearly 6 feet in length). Perhaps someone does a pet-pad for a crocodile.
