Deffheads
Has anyone replaced the fly screen on a Heki rooflight, ours has gone saggy, or is there a way of tightening the cords that hold it.
Derek Uzzell
Which Heki rooflight and how old is it? There are several Heki models ranging from micro, through mini, midi to 'full size', and the method of accessing/replacing the fly-screen will vary. colin
On our 2011 vintage Heki mini the cord sliced through the plastic guide, poor design, I bodged in a small key ring for the cord to run in.
Deffheads
It's the full size on a 2006 Dethleffs Eprit A class.
Derek Uzzell
Full-size Heki rooflights have been marketed in Heki 1, 2, 3 or 4 variants and there’s no guarantee that how the blinds are fitted is the same on all types. There’s a recent YouTube guide here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-ClAZ6l6pw about addressing string-related blind problems, but the rooflight doesn’t look like a full size one.
