Guest john steggles
Water seems to be leaking around the bottom edge of one of the side lounge area windows. there has appeared a stain along the bottom edge on the inside. The window would appear to be constructed of an inner and an outer panel, screwed together with concealed screws from the inside. These screws have recessed screw cover blanks. How can you remove these blanks without damaging them?
Guest Derek Uzzell
You probably can't. Many small 'cosmetic' trim-parts are one-shot jobs not intended for removal/replacement. Try jamming the point of a Stanley knife blade at an angle into the crack where the cover meets the window frame and levering up (Watch your eyes!) If that fails and the covers are really stuck in the frame, then you'll have to drill a hole in them or something. If you know who makes your Hobby's windows (Dometic or Remis), you could try scrounging some new covers off them - this usually works for me. Guest Derek Uzzell
John: Another possible way of removing this sort of cover is to glue a piece of wood to the cover then pull it out. If the cover isn't jammed in too tightly, wood and cover should come out together. The wood would need to be of a slightly smaller diameter than the cover itself and you would need to use an adhesive that didn't damage the cover's surface and could be removed subsequently. Just a thought.

Guest PeteC
Dont like the idea of a 'Stanley Knife' as it may break Try something like a small 'terminal' screwdriver or metal scriber to lever it out The workshop people something similar & replace with new
