trumpetboy11
Hi all, Have read in depth the threads regarding poor earth's on Fiat Ducato. Mine is a 1994 2.5td. Suffering from high idle speed and injection system warning light on. All earth braids changed today, earth points cleaned up to chassis etc. Has made no difference. Tick over about 1200 rpm. As soon as throttle is touched tick over speed drops to normal, red light goes out. Take foot off throttle, red light back on, idle speed increases. Have reset all diesel injection electrical connections (electronic throttle not cable) now at a loss!! If you let clutch out in 1st gear it pulls away rapidly, almost as if it something to do with an anti stall feature. Will have to resort to sending to a garage soon as I'm at the limit of my ideas!!! Any suggestions of what to look at next gratefully received!! Thanks, Julian
skaman
Don't know if it would help but as it's a simple job , replace the fuel filter. I had problems with my van until I did that.
