Archiesgrandad
Circumstances have changed in respect of CG's health since we sold the van last year,, and we have decided to get another van in which to gently potter around whilst we can. We don't want to draw down pension funds because the French crucify you with tax if you do so, therefore we are looking at the relatively elderly, low budget end of the market. I have found locally a relatively low mileage (130,000k) 1990 Pilot/Citroen A class similar to our previous one at a price that appeals, and from the photos it looks to be in a reasonable state, so I'm going to see it tomorrow. As a reasonably competent mechanic I think I have some idea about what to look for, but would be grateful for any informed advice about what I should look for in particular. I will be grateful for any advice before breakfast time tomorrow. AGD
