Barryd999
Should be an upgrade coming soon apparently. You should find if you swap browsers on your PC (edge, Chrome, Firefox etc) for a short while you usually get straight in, then swap back later. Derek Uzzell
Please refer to this thread stuck to the top of the Motorhome Matters forum homepage https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/CHANGES-TO-FORUM-/60069/ Keithl's posting of 21 May explains the current position and emphasises that nothing will be done to fix the ongoing glitch in Warners computer system, with a 'cure' for the irrelevant banning-message only happening when the O&AL forums are transferred to a new platform. I have received the ‘banning-message’ twice so far today and just switching between browsers (Chrome and Safari in my case) allowed me to continue using these forums with minimal interruption. (If I could add to this forum a thread about the banning message that was headed in big red capital letters and flashed, I would have done it 2 months ago. But that's not possible, so forum members will - for now - just have to grin and bear it and look forward to the wonderful improvements and exciting extra features that the new software platform will provide.) Warner's staff are working on moving the forum to new software and are very close to making the move. On that basis they will not be making any changes to the current software and have already asked us to please bear with them until the move happens. So please be patient and it will be worth it in the long run. Keith.
Derek Uzzell
This 'banning message' problem first showed itself briefly in November last year https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/FORUM-BANNING-PROBLEM-22-NOVEMBER-2021/59227/ It then began to happen regularly towards the end of March 2022 https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/You-re-Banned-/59895/ and was also discussed here https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/CHANGES-TO-FORUM-/60069/ At the top of the Motorhome Matters forum I've now 'stuck' (and frozen) three identical threads about this, which - with any luck - should dissuade further unproductive complaints being made about it. It's Warners' fault and Warners have admitted that it's their fault. Warners will make no effort to correct the fault, so babes you are just going to have to suck it up until the forum gets moved to a new platform. ;-) ;-) Obviously the 'banning message' will affect all the O&AL forums, not just Motorhome Matters. But the other forums are little used nowadays except for Chatterbox and that's going to get the chop soon so who cares... (I've frozen this thread too.)
