Under the bench seat next to the EBL are a large gauge red and black wire with a connector on so I guess this could be the wiring for solar but I can't trace them to where they would connect to the wires from a solar panel on the roof. Thanks

Yes, your Pilote will be pre-wired for solar.

On our previous Pilote (MY18) the solar wires terminated in the upper wooden boxy trim, just above the hab door, and close to the control panels.

If you pull one of the small LED spot lights out from that boxy trim area above the van door then you may see the wires.

Tell me how you get on,

Andrew

Thanks for your reply. I will check the area you mentioned and I intend to start the job next week so I will let you know I get on, at the moment I can't decide on which panel to buy. Thanks Steve

Yes you were right the wires are behind the control panel and it looks like you can pilote drill from the inside so should be a piece of cake. Thanks Steve

That's great news Steve - not exactly easy to find without directions.

In the meantime 'happy fitting'

All the best,

Andrew
