Don636
Is there a fuse you can remove?
Cruisecontrol
There are number related to the air con but none I can see for the fan. Aircon fuse in the engine bay so don't have time to access it as I'm in the boarding queue
Don636
Does the fan continue to run with the ignition off?
Cruisecontrol
No, it goes off. Interestingly the reversing light doesn't work nor the reversing camera. Checked Fuse 51 which is ok and sensors. All these come via Fuse 51 but that's ok. On board now Sono more check s until docked.
Alanb
At the risk of stating what is already known, may I point out that the a/c will switch the fan on at speed 2. Fan switch will still give higher speeds. (Most of us sometimes forget the obvious in moments of stress.) The ignition switch controls the fan positive supply via relay TO8 and fuse F08 in the engine bay fusebox. The a/c and fan switch operate on the negative (earh) connection. If your a/c was not switched on, then you may have an a/c control fault, or even a wiring fault. Alan
Cruisecontrol
Thanks to all. Now in dayight I've found that fuse 51 had actually dropped out! How I've no idea. Can't find it but replaced it and all working. Great start to a holiday!!
