Heard about a very good electric mouse deterrent for parked up Motorhomes. A little critter chewed up a box of tissues and made a real nest! If anyone has tried such a device woukd like to know.
My house is in a very rural location and in Autumn each year mice decamp from the surrounding fields and take up residence in my house’s attic. Years ago I installed a mains-powered electronic repeller in the attic, but it never seems to have had any noticeable effect in dissuading the mice from taking up residence. I just put traps down in late-Summer and regularly check them. In 2020 I think the traps killed about 8 mice in the period up to Xmas. At present there are 6 traps in the attic (baited with chocolate spread) but when I last checked none of the traps had been triggered.
