Burgos probably a little too far and can’t find Fuenmayor on my map but V. Gasteiz looks promising and right next to the N622.

Thanks all for the advice, now just need the Bay of Biscay to behave itself next week??

If it is open at the time of your trip there is an excellent campsite at Haro. The site is a 10 minute walk from a very pretty town which has a large number of bodegas being in the centre of the Rioja region. You can have a tour of the bodegas and buy good quality wine at a very good price- you can also buy some very ordinary wine at a very cheap price!

it is about 2-3 hours drive from Santander on good roads.

Have a good trip

I will be interested to hear where you stayed on your way to Valencia.

From Villamartin, we split the journey and stay just north of Madrid at Camping Monte - highly recommended, although a good 4 hours from Santander.

I see you are in villamartin, I should be in villamartin in June . Is there any overnight parking there or close by campsites
