Mickydripin Posted February 22, 2021 Share Posted February 22, 2021 Valencian region government finally bans all motorhome "Wildcamping"across there whole region of spain, with effect from the 8th of May 2020. the government has finally acted in the face of ever increasing and constant complaints from its residents and local councils about more and more large groups of motorhomes wild camping illegally all along the coastal areas. With effect from the 8th of May 2021 onwards it will be an offence to stay in a motorhome overnight except in a designated area ( campsite or Aire). This action follows the similar law passed by the government in Portugal recently. With the amount of people that like to wild camp in Spain this is going to be a big blow as where are the motorhomes going to now when in the past i have tried to get on a Spanish campsite they were full.
