Bagster
Hi all I have just recently bought my 1st motorhome..yippee....., it's a 2006 Peugeot suntor with 10,000 from new. Unfortunately in 2009 it had a slight cab fire which took the roof lining and seatbelt capping on the b post. The chap I bought it off had tried to fit what looks like van items, which as I'm a bit of a perfectionist I want to put it back how it came out of the manufacturers. The motorhome itself is in mint condition and chassis looks like it's done no mileage whatsoever and it's just a shame to see the cab the way it is Does anyone know where I could get a roof lining ( which has bed above cab ) and plastic capping for housing seat belts. I have phoned many places around country to no avail , any help would be greatly appreciated as summers coming and I need to teach my little one to fish. Many thanks in advance
Derek Uzzell
Welcome to the Out&AboutLive forums, John. There’s a longish Youtube advert for a 2006 Elddis Suntor 140 here I suspect that the roof-lining and B-post seat-belt cappings will have been fitted in the Elddis factory when the motorhome was originally built. You might try asking Elddis http://www.elddis.co.uk/contact-us but the likelihood is that the parts you want are no longer available. A motorhome repair specialist might be able to deal with the roof lining, but I’m not sure what could be done about the cappings as having replacements made would be expensive. Derek Uzzell
It will do no harm (and cost nothing) to contact Elddis, but if there is a local Elddis dealership, try them first. http://www.elddis.co.uk/find-a-retailer
747
Do an online search for 'Caravan breakers'. You might just be lucky. ;-)
Keithl
John, A decent upholstery shop should be able to re-trim your headlining and may be able to help swap the seat belt trim if you can find one. We have had upholstery work done by Care-A-Van in Birmingham and would have no hesitation in recommending them if you are near. https://www.careavan.co.uk/motorhome-refurbishment Keith. Bagster
Thanks for all replays, spoke to Elldis who have discontinued stock but gave me a list of company's who may have surplus stock, phoned them all no good :-(. I have also spoke to careavan Keith and mailed them some pics so fingers crossed. Thanks all
