Ninian
Hi, Can anybody verify that the Halfords HLB700 and Yuasa L36-EFB are the same Leisure battery with the Halfords just having different labels. I'm finding it difficult to buy the Yuasa in N. Ireland. Thanks.
aandncaravan
The Halfords HLB700 is listed as being EFB technology, 200 cycles and 100AH so certainly has the same spec as a Yuasa L36-EFB. Only difference seems to be the shorter 2 year warranty.

All the best, Andrew B-)
aandncaravan
Bop, I take that as a real compliment. I have been doing Motorhome and Caravan repairs, specialising in 12v, for 6 years now so have repaired thousands of battery chargers. Because I needed to understand why some batteries seemed to work really well with chargers and other batteries destroyed chargers, I started cutting batteries open to see if they were different inside. The difference between the best and the worst was staggering. That started a long love/hate Leisure battery relationship, learning all I could along the way, so I probably know a bit more than most. But I most definitely don't know everything. Almost everyday I come across something new, and it's a delight when I do. As for a comparison with a NASA computer? More like a Sinclair ZX80? :->
Mike88
Even a Sinclair ZX 80 is more knowledgeable than the majority on here as regards batteries. Your contributions are most valuable and very much appreciated on here.
