ColinM50 Posted July 15, 2019 Share Posted July 15, 2019 Took our blinds off last week to fit a new radio aerial. Blind came off pretty easily. There's two large plastic screws on the top plastic rail that fit into the interior moulding, removing those lets you take off the metal runner, and the side blind on the A pillar GENTLY prises from a clip mounted inside it on the A pillar. Once you get a largeish screwdriver behind the blind it starts to move away from the clip and prodding the clip revealed behind the blind makes it fairly obvious. Gentle is a good description of how to do it. Don't yank on stuff, just a gentle pry or twist away and it becomes starightforward Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Derek Uzzell Posted July 15, 2019 Share Posted July 15, 2019 This video shows the installation procedure for fitting current-style Remis blinds to X290 Ducatos. As shown on the video, the side-window blinds are single-piece. As far as I’m aware the only screw used is the one behind the small “REMIS” infill cover at the top-rear corner of the blind’s frame.
