Hi

I am fitting a new passenger mirror and our van as a full set of REMIS blinds.

How do I remove the side blind please? anyone done this please?

Cheers John

It will help if you can tell us what variety of Ducato you have? Year etc.

I have done this on my 2004 Ducato but that may not be the same as yours

Took our blinds off last week to fit a new radio aerial. Blind came off pretty easily. There's two large plastic screws on the top plastic rail that fit into the interior moulding, removing those lets you take off the metal runner, and the side blind on the A pillar GENTLY prises from a clip mounted inside it on the A pillar. Once you get a largeish screwdriver behind the blind it starts to move away from the clip and prodding the clip revealed behind the blind makes it fairly obvious. Gentle is a good description of how to do it. Don't yank on stuff, just a gentle pry or twist away and it becomes starightforward

This video

shows the installation procedure for fitting current-style Remis blinds to X290 Ducatos. As shown on the video, the side-window blinds are single-piece.

As far as I’m aware the only screw used is the one behind the small “REMIS” infill cover at the top-rear corner of the blind’s frame. Otherwise, retention of the frame to the cab-door is via various clips.
