Remis vents

Derek, Many thanks for your reply.I have seen Remis vents fitted to show vans and wondered if they had any advantages over the Heki products. Having read your reply I think we will probably go for Heki.

The right choice in my view. A disadvantage of the REMItop 400 over the Mini-HEKI that I failed to mention is that the sliding action of the Remis product makes cleaning the underside of the 'glass' a whole lot harder. It's easy enough to get at the centre section visible from inside the 'van and you can get at the back by sliding the window forwards, but getting at the overlapping front and sides is another matter. These areas pick up a lot of grime - you don't actually see it from inside the vehicle but, if you're a spick-and-span person, when you come to clean the roof it's irritating to be confronted by the built-up muck and not be able to get at it. No such problem with the HEKI due to its tilting action.
