william4
We have an annoying rattle on our 2011 Autotrail Tracker which appears to be coming from the spaceheater unit. I have been into the back of the unit via the wardrobe and nothing seems amiss. I have tried to get the front off without any success in order to see if there is anything rattling in this area. Tried utube again no joy - slightly different model. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Keithl
If it's anything like the Truma fire in our 2004 then it removes in a counter-intuitive manner! You pull the top of the fire away from the wall against two spring clips then lift the cover to unhook the bottom. You then have to unplug the small electrical connector under the fan speed control dial/switch and and unclip the rod from the gas control valve. It can be really tricky getting everything back into place, especially the gas control rod, but with practice it becomes easier! Derek Uzzell
Downloadable Truma documentation for S-3002 heaters can be found here https://dealernew.truma.com/_anweisungen/Truma_Katalog/2%20gb/s_heizungen_gb/s_3002_gb.html with information about the Ultraheat option here https://dealernew.truma.com/_anweisungen/Truma_Katalog/2%20gb/ultraheat_gb/ultraheat_gb.html Operating instructions for a S-3002K heater are here https://dealernew.truma.com/_anweisungen/Truma_Katalog/pdf_verzeichnis/30_000/30040_39400.pdf and on Page 7 there’s advice on how to remove/replace the front cover. For S-3002 and S-3002P appliances, Page 12 of this link https://dealernew.truma.com/_anweisungen/Truma_Katalog/pdf_verzeichnis/30_000/30050_93000.pdf carries similar advice. These heaters have a reputation for rattling. There’s a good deal of on-line discussion about this, plus complaints about difficulty getting the front cover off.
