We suggest Pont de l'Arche municipal site. Smack on the edge of the Eure where it joins the Seine. You will find a bit about it here - http://campings.hpaguide.com/haute-normandie/eure/view.php?CUID=883dc1a23b3b900e2f5cc028a6924655 It is just south of Rouen off the N15. The town is well worth a visit, especially for the superb patisseries, only a hundred yards from the site. We haven't found it particularly easy to park the 'camping car' in Rouen - till we found the quayside - Quai de Pre Loups (the old dock). And we never miss a trip to the huge Carrefour at Tourville la Riviere.

Always use le Bec Hellouin (Think its in CC1 under Brionne) in that area. Nice, clean Municipal with some of the cleanest showers i have ever found.Good off site walking. Pretty little town with restaurants and Abbey. La Risle for your river.
