chasm Posted July 13, 2020 Share Posted July 13, 2020 Our 2002 reg Hymer Swing (Ducato 2.8jtd Base) is now, after 168,000 miles, suffering from rust problems. The off side sill inner has suffered badly as have both wheel arches and the nearside jacking point. These have been noted on previous MoT but now a year later our van is having an Mot next week. We're not sure whether we'll get a pass or not. Our local garage is excellent for servicing and other repairs but doesn't do bodywork welding. As we want to keep our van going for a couple of more years ( we're in our mid-seventies so not thinking of replacement), can anyone recommend where we could have repairs carried out in the East Midlands area? ps We've always had our van regularly serviced but the garage we went to for years never warned us that things were going wrong!
