At this year's NEC Show, SIKA - arguably the market leader in this field - is present to provide information on their products. I used to think SIKA stuff was expensive, but it seems that the elevated retail asking-prices were due more to certain outlets profiteering rather than to SIKA's wholesale prices being exorbitant. A range of SIKA wares was being offered for sale on Stand 4524 and the prices seemed very fair to me. (By the way, I'm getting no kick-backs for this - not even a part-used tube of mastic!) Guest nick dean Posted February 22, 2005 Share Posted February 22, 2005 couldent agree more about prices of sealants a smalll company calleds fixings and screw supplies near me< fats> charge £2 a tube trade size for all silicone/ mastics etc you also get a discount for bulk. all goood makes etc. if they can do it so can others. i rest my case just shop around..
