Service

Our van does about 3-5000 miles per year and I get it serviced every year regardless of mileage even once out of warranty. Costs about £250 at a Fiat dealer. Yes, it sounds expensive but I’m not messing around to save a few quid on a £50k motorhome. Looks better come resale time I think so worth it in the long run.

Assuming you mean "base vehicle service" as opposed to habitation the service the main parameter will most likely be 2 years or 32,000 miles whichever comes first. However to get more information and a vehicle specific recommendation contact Peugeot service department and ask them for a service schedule specific to your vehicle. Have your VIN to hand when you contact them. As your main vehicle warranty also ends at two years a check before then is timely anyway.

This 2018 forum thread

discussed the oil-change interval for a 2016 Citroen Jumper(Relay) with the 2.0litre Euro 6 motor and it’s to be expected that the same criteria will apply to similar-specification Peugeot Boxers.

It will undoubtedly be the case that the Peugeot service-schedule for a 2017 Boxer will specify a ‘time interval’ service no later than 2 years after the vehicle’s UK-registration date.

A potential advantage of choosing a Peugeot agent to perform the at-2-years service is that, if there are any software revisions or special checks that Peugeot has advised be carried out on the vehicle, the Peugeot agent should ensure those revisions/checks are done. This is unlikely to happen if an ‘independent’ garage carries out the service.

Just an idle comment...

There have been discussions on on-line forums about recent Peugeot Boxer-based motorhomes (including Elddis products) having a Tyre-Pressure Management System (TPMS) that needs high tyre pressures to be used to avoid the TPMS from issuing ‘alarms’. These 2018/2017 forum threads refer

This may not affect/concern you, but if it does and a Peugeot agent is going to service your Boxer, you might want to mention it to the agent.
