Barry38
My 2009 Autocruise Rythm has developed a sticking concertina blind on the sliding door. On close inspection the "tabs" that the strings travel through were inconsistently attached during manufacture as some are glued to the upper pleat and some are glued to the lower pleat in a totally random fashion. The glue holding the plastic tabs to the blind material has become tacky in the sunlight and therefore causes the pleats to randomly stick together causing irregular vertical creases in the blind pleats. I have tried french chalk on the offending parts but this doesn't seem to last very long I feel that the blind will need to be removed and the problem tackled on the workshop bench which is going to be quite a task!. Has anyone had this problem and how was it remedied?.
ColinM50
I'm a great believer in the silicone or ptfe spray called GT84. Unsticks most sticky stuff and makes doors and blinds slide as intended
