yes, buy a repsol or Cepsa propane cylinder....(we have one alongside our single Gaslow refillable)

all you'll need is an adaptor called a Jumbo, to fit on the end of your current hose. I think the French bottle has the 21.8 LH threaded fitting, in which case the Jumbo will just screw on and fit onto the propane bottle.

the jumbo needs to have the plastic collar lifted, then press the adaptor firmly into the bottle and then press the collar down to secure it. there will also be a turn key to turn the supply on and off.

No details of MEIRA’s motorhome (make, model, age?) are known, nor which make/type of French propane cylinder was being used when the gas ran out, so MEIRA needs to understand that assumptions have had to be made in the advice given in the postings above.

There is information about Spanish propane bottles in this 2015 forum thread

As far as I am aware there are no changes needed to run any of the appliances, cooker fridge hob and heating as most will run on butane, propane or LPG, which is a mixture of the previous 2. I run LPG as its easier to fill, but in the colder climes just be aware of the different country mixes as you need to get as close to 100% propane as possible. You will of course have to look at the type of bottles, pigtails and regulator, and lastly a set of fill converters for the different EU countries.

You don’t necessarily need propane, as both Cepsa and Repsol bottles are interchangeable between propane and butane.
