If you hold in the igniter button it light and it's OK but as soon as you let go it goes out. Any ideas as to an easy fix?

It's a Thetford S-OP13000 Mk4 midi Prima

TIA

2014 CaravanTalk discussion - same Thetford grill, same problem.

I notice you asked about this here in 2019

https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/How-to-keep-the-grill-alight/52164/

and the advice given then still holds.

Have you tried cleaning the thermo coupler tip which sits in the flame , this often helps

You're a bit good at this aren't you derek? How do you store all the Q's and A's? Clever beggar aren't you

OK, so I'll have a fiddle with the thermocouple and if that dosn't work I'll give Thetford a call and see what their answer is

Follow the thermocouple back from the ring to where the spade connector is. Pull the connector off and refit it 2 or 3 times. Your ring should now work properly. It is a common problem easily sorted.
