Bop
Here's an interesting article showing the mess left behind by the travelling fraternity in Ramsgate who, incidentally seem to prefer the Swift Bessacarr Range: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.kentonline.co.uk/thanet/news/amp/rubbish-cleared-from-car-park-after-travellers-pitch-up-228854/
Cattwg
"Why has the council not put in height restriction barriers as this happens every year?" This quote from the article is a very understandable local reaction but is an anathema to we motorhome users. Cattwg :-D
Steve H
Is that the one with the lead-free roof?
breakaleg
The problem is on a car park, so a height barrier would exclude law abiding people from Parking. Birmingham city council went to court and took out an injunction for affected parks. Police now tell them that they are in breach of the injunction and they move on straight away.. Bop
As I see it, the main problem with travellers now moving from a caravan to a motorhome lifestyle is that their intrinsic messy behaviour will give us all a bad reputation.
