shirles
Does anybody know the email address of continental tyres where you can give your axle weights and wheel sizes and get recommended tyre pressures. I remember using it when we lived in the UK but can't find it now.
Derek Uzzell
This link is to the Continental Tyres contact webpage https://www.continental-tyres.co.uk/car/contact I’m not sure if the General Questions or Technical Questions entry would be most appropriate for tyre-pressure enquiries, but I’m guessing either would do. As you will know your vehicle’s axle weights and tyre size, it shouldn’t really be necessary to contact Continetal Tyres as the information you want should be fairly easily obtainable from Continental’s Technical Databook Car, 4x4 & Van publication that can be downloaded from here https://www.continental-tyres.com.au/car/media-services/downloads I notice that there’s also a NZ contact possibility https://www.tyrehub.co.nz/contact-us/ Or you could use this generic pressure checker that’s probably near enough... https://www.tyresafe.org/motorhome-tyre-pressure/
shirles
I contacted the continental website and gave them my tyre size plus axle weights and they responded with 3bar and 3.5 for front and rear axles which is quite a bit less than the current pressures .Anyhow I will try these out on the van keeping tabs on the temperatures. Hopefully the ride will improve.
