sandalwood
Hi guys Have had a mouse infestation, luckily no wires chewed through, but they got in boot and cupboards. Presumably I can disinfect boot, cupboards ( although they do have stuck down material) but how do I clean the upholstery. Want to make sure no mouse urine anywhere. Have taken your good advices re traps and peanut butter to deter the critters. We had a problem with the solenoid on the turbo ( not bad for a woman to know this) because of lack of use, being replaced tomorrow. Must ensure if further lockdowns we drive out at least once a month. Grateful for any help, we can’t use really wet shampoo as we can’t dry, and we go away, hopefully in two weeks after cancelling this week Kind Regards Shirley

Derek Uzzell
Online advice suggests steam-cleaning for upholstered furniture contaminated by rodent droppings/urine. Sprays are also marketed to deal with urine cleaning https://tinyurl.com/v4mkm2k9 but I’ve no personal experience of how well they might work.
