Advertised my camper on Gumtree

This person is offering either a deposit or full payment without seeing the van..
No wonder I'm suspicious.

Now I'm Bombarded with email. Coincidence?

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is!

Pass on this one.

Don't, whatever you do give out your bank details. You could always ask for a cheque and once its cleared by your bank the van is his. Maybe you're offering a very good deal and he really does want it but as I said, no bank details if you are at all suspicious.

In my experience this is par for the course - numerous calls or emails simply asking 'what will you take for it', 'just what i'm after' etc. The standard answer from me is, great come and see it and we can discuss. Inevitably you don't here from trhem again.
