I have the usual underfloor Whale water heater and it doesn't work on gas it just shows a diagnoctic fault but when you press the two buttons there is no fault code? You can hear it trying to light as it sparks. Water in the heater. There's gas as the cooker works. Loads of volts? Tried turning off and on a few times. Any ideas please-crawl under and reset? ColinM50 Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 On mine there's a reset button next to the heater, hidden right at the back. The book shows a picture of this red button that's actually yellow and a location that bears no resemblance to reality at all. I have to crawl upside down under a bed and wedge myself in and feel for the button, but it's there and pressing it resets the heater. Maybe yours is similar?
