Guest Bob Posted February 22, 2005 Share Posted February 22, 2005 Some information for anybody travelling through West Dorset on the B3157 (coast road) during April/May. Dorset County Council have stated that this road is to have major reconstruction in places and will be closed between Abbotsbury and Portesham for 3 weeks starting April 11.The second closure, between the west of Weymouth and Portesham will begin on May 3,for 5 weeks.However the road will be reopened just for the May Bank holiday weekend.Hope this is of some help.
